Europe is dangerous for the US. If we manage to hold up our system they might lose the grip on theirs. If we move away from fossile fuels we are walking away from their leverage. They can't allow us to be successful. It's all there in plain sight of everyone.
Now the US isn't ready anymore even before elections.
@xnecx.bsky.social · 12mo agoNah. US is fully ready for china right now. Thats why russia is not stopped by them. China will wait until the next elections paralyze the US. Russia is fine with dragging the war until then at a stalemate meanwhile ramping up production and logistics.
🇺🇦 Zelensky: Putin is not ready to stop this war. There is intelligence that he is preparing for mobilization. He wants to do it after the Duma elections on September 21. This will be a big problem, because he will expect to mobilize from 300 to 500 thousand people.

Between the Middle Eastern clusterfuck and the apparent closure of both UA and RU shipping in the Black Sea (with Kazakh oil export being collateral damage), you all should really be buying EVs...
We need to arm Ukraine to the teeth. That's hopefully happening in EU countries. But Ukraine needs millions of drones ready for use in case of a full mobilization. We need literal swarms to turn every advance into disaster, even if it's made by (ten)thousands of soldiers in one offensive move.
A general mobilization in Russia is inevitable for Putin. Are we prepared to defeat not thousand but millions? How do we react if Russia decides to go "all in" and falling back on the good old "grab the gun (or shoes if needed) of the fallen and keep running"? I think that we are not.
