in general im pretty soft on games that iterate on an established formula in small increments rather than constantly strive for consistent major improvement. one of my favorite series ever is zelda, after all. but i feel grand theft auto just doesnt have much outside the chaos going as a hook.
i love bethesda games though. not really ashamed to admit that cause what i like about them are the superficial aspects that have little to do with how they play. the NPC persistence is actually impressive to me and it does actually contribute to my enjoyment. starfield's pushing it though
lukewarm but all of the grand theft auto games. fucked around a lot with vice city stories on my PSP as a kid and i really got my fill, no entry before or since offers much more for me than the first one i played and i feel that's true of every entry. your favorite is your first
