Voice actor Tom Kane, known for Star Wars, Powerpuff Girls and more, sadly passed away. For the X-Wing series he voiced: - Imp.Officer 1 & Rebel Pilot 4 in XvT - Imp.Officer, Avenger 4 & Rebel Tactical Officer in BoP - Comm.Beckman, Golov Nakhym, Imp.Officer 2 and NienNub in XWA.

X-Wing Alliance (Totally Games/LucasArts, 1999): TIE Experimental M1, art by Richard Green "I started as a freelancer doing some new TIE fighter designs for the sequel to X-Wing. Those were super fun to do. [Totally Games] was the best overall experience in game development of my entire career".

The "TIE Experimental M1" from a Star Wars video-game. The pilot's orb-shaped cockpit is connected to a giant panel, which serves as the middle between said cockpit and another orb. This other orb is a gun-mount. Essentially, it's two balls separated by a giant flat panel.
