There are many problems with House of the Dragon (teleporting characters or whole armies etc.) but what stands out to me personally is how they again travel without any bags and how people die instantly from a single stab wound making no further noise that can interfere with the following dialog.

An adult in the UK working full time earning the minimum wage needs 25K a year. Then it depends, but commonly the same carer can at best care for 2 persons. That means 2 families need to be paying £1K a month each, and that it is only for care labour (no nurses or other staff), no rent, food etc.

I don't think this specific race is very representative of the Tory performance, but the main thing is that Labour, while massively weakened, is still the main party on the left, while the Conservative party is no longer that on the right.

A mere 6 years later he was a head of a division and at 44 he was maid head of NIAID, a position he occupied for decades.

We are unusual but not unique - Canada and Italy look like the UK, and the Netherlands somewhat. The idea that the last quarter century is characterised by the rich getting richer at the expense of the poor in the UK is just not supported by the data. The last time that happened was in the 1980s.
Same in the US and Denmark, and the poor have also done worst in Norway, Spain and Switzerland. But Britain looks VERY different.
There's a certain type of leftist who honestly thinks rural people would stop supporting Trump, stop being racist and transphobic, if only the Dem party talked about Gaza and healthcare more. My dudes they literally think you supporting "killing babies." Ask them!
