It's funny to me that Violet Mind advertises it's combat as being fast because it runs at like 20 fps and combat is pretty much entirely about using the systems to be able to hit the enemy without them hitting you. It's fun, but it is incredibly slow. Metroidvania tactical shooter or some shit.

lmao this boss is so fucking funny You can stand at the edge to make it not fire it's homing shot, which is great but puts you in peak knocked into the pit zone. Meanwhile a billion things spawn in and block your shots and the boxes instant kill and have some fucked up gradius hitbox. It's amazing!

Not quoting the post since it seems like Sunday morning dunksesh now and because a lot of people doing so are going in with a chip on their shoulder arcade elitism I find equally obnoxious but like, you can play games how you want. Stop caring about what's the correct way, you are your own person.
sometimes you just play the most pc doujin game ever and your eyes open back up and you're like oh right, it's cool to just open a video game and be running around doing shit. off we go
