Jefferson County NY is just serenely beautiful at times and the people there really have the New Yorker (derogatory) characteristic toned way down

Blue Jays, Sabres, hazelnuts, other. I've been degaussed.
I twitched every time Caleb just said "Conoco." There was an alumnus from my college who offered two of us jobs for ConocoPhillips almost twenty years ago, in Alaska, making more than I do now (twenty years later.)
Walking Notes: 8-4-26 - Saw something today that said "go for a walk and smile and wave to at least one person." The first person I saw looked like my grandmother (rest her Gulf Coast soul) and she beat me to the smile and wave. - Smelled something that reminded me of childhood
I've been consuming content for people struggling for months. I've admitted it here. I posted a page from a journal with the words I DONT KNOW WHAT WILL HAPPEN BUT I WILL BE OKAY to friends and family on Instagram. The Struggles are well-documented.
On social media, a broad consensus is that you can’t admit to struggle — at least not while you’re struggling. Doing so represents a failure so profound it’s almost existential. How did it become mandatory to demonstrate perpetual growth and progress online?
Daulton Varsho said that a lot of emotions have flooded in today when he learned his time with the #BlueJays was ending. It’s been an emotional 24 hours: “I felt it last night with Gausman on the plane. We broke down and he cried with me and George.”
Jays are going to be a tough watch for the rest of the season
looking Scherzer-esque* on the Zoom *temporarily insane
I have noticed MLBTR has reframed their headlines from "Team acquires player" to "Team trades player to other team" and I would love to know why
Orioles already giving up the franchise guy? Thought this was their year...
So, I think getting a prospect like Nimmala is good work. But I think that's a player who needs to be in a quality player development system. And he just joined the Angels. Who are definitely a baseball team.
I really like Nimmala but there's a chance he may never hit with any substance
I rarely comment on departing players, but Kevin Gausman is different. A thoughtful, reliable and impressive person to cover. All of the reasons #BlueJays fans were drawn to Gausman are genuine and real. Model player, model representative of this organization. He did it right.
If I were to show up the the Jays clubhouse before the next game I'd probably be described as an ultra undersized 2B with no power
Southisene described by an exec as an ultra undersized SS (5’7”, 170) with bat to ball skills (.311 AVG, .431 OBP at Class A) and speed (31 SB) but no power (0 HR as a professional) Bateman said to have bat to ball skills (.312 AVG, 65 Ks, 60 BB) as well with plus glove in CF
Dude had him down 0-2 with a three-run lead, cripes
