Sounds good. Except the government spending $310 million on non-market housing and $2.4 billion on market housing is the opposite of what those numbers should be. Why is the government using billions in public money to prop up a for-profit housing market that can't make a profit anymore?

Together with the City of Toronto, we’re getting more than 5,600 rental homes built. We're building 18 new housing projects across the city — with shovels in the ground on more than 80% of them this year. Read more: www.pm.gc.ca/en/news/news...

There’s someone named Liam Pue on Team Canada in the Hlinka tourney, and I was hoping his name was spelled ‘Pew’ since that’s how it’s pronounced – ‘Pue Pue Pue’ doesn’t quite translate the same in writing.

A second poll out on the Vancouver race, with undecideds stripped out, this one with Sim in the lead. Another small sample size, but in both polls there’s a clear tier of Sim-Fry-Allam as the top three, Hardwick lurking in 4th, and a big dropoff to Bligh/Azaroff/Allen

I was waiting for the other shoe to drop in this ad, but no, it was just an eerily positive spin on having an AI agent do absolutely everything for a useless boyfriend who can't remember to throw out expired milk, let alone an anniversary: www.wired.com/story/this-a...

This AI Assistant Wants to Make Up for Your Boyfriend's Incompetence

An ad for Orchid suggests the AI agent can fix relationship problems by simply doing everything for inconsiderate partners.

Went down a strange rabbit hole when I wondered “what’s Clavicular up to”. So I see he met his “idol” who founded Looksmaxxing. This soft, mid motherfucker unleashed this shit? Who’s he? He’s Lamarcus Small. Goes by SergeantIncel. Also created the biggest Incel forum & a site called…

People watching an entire kdrama with a soul swapping premise, then writing an essay on how unrealistic the whole thing is, like okay. What was your first hint that this would be unrealistic?

i dunno how you screw up and don't release a BLADE movie. it's got the lowest barrier to entry of any Marvel movie (guy with sword kills vampires), it doesn't need a huge sfx budget (guy with sword kills vampires) and its univeral theme appeals to everyone (guy with sword kills vampires)

Started watching a newish Kdrama – Reborn Rookie – last night, because I saw that Yoon sang the theme song. It had really good ratings during its run, and so far, it’s pretty good. Hoping I won’t be disappointed at the ending (still so sour about 2521…)
