When I got to visit and tour Cartoon Saloon last year, this is what they were animating on the second floor. I am very excited to see that come full circle and can’t wait to watch Julián when it releases.

I’m making a scavenger hunt for my brother and his girlfriend and I am fully channeling Sam Reich while I write the clues. I can see why he loves making Game Changer so much. This is incredible.

What makes the greatest art of literally any kind is intentionality. Every scene, every detail, every word all has to be intentionally put there by someone. Ai can’t do anything but rob you of those choices. It tosses everything together based on what the algorithm says other people are doing.

I’m planning to launch a writing course for people who want to learn how to write for animation! Question: if classes would be live (over Zoom) are weekends better than weekday evenings? Also: is it best to schedule it during the holidays (July / August) or “term time” (September onwards)?
