We wonder what the reasoning was to make the third entry in the Game Boy series less cutesy and cartoony than the last two. Look how cool the turtles look in Radical Rescue.
@yokoikids.bsky.social - I don't always post about it, but every month I try to play the games even if it's not in the same month. Operation C is great, and it's impressive how well Konami managed to fit Contra music and gameplay into a Gameboy cartridge.

It's cool that most of the bosses in Radical Rescue are from the original TMNT toy line. Scratch appears in the game and is one of the most sought out action figures out there. Even though he is one of the lamer looking figures (next to Hot Spot).

We haven't "officially" posted about what game we are doing for August. But you can play it on this newer TMNT Cowabunga Collection and it's def recommended to play it on this. Or a rom you can use state saves on.
There is a nine lives code for Operation C (upx4, downx4, leftx4), but some kind soul made a hack where you can start with 30 lives if you enter in the code. You may really want them for that last level. www.romhacking.net/hacks/3769/
