Trump is president. This is Trump’s economy and Trump’s war. Americans don’t buy the claim that Biden is to blame. The Republicans hold the presidency and have majority in Congress as well as on the Supreme Court. Everything negative that happens is laid at the door of Trump and the GOP.

Pelosi gets an enormous amount of love for her political instincts — particularly among political scientists On Here — but one big miss was not firmly throwing her weight behind AOC as a successor figure. Case where ideological preferences overrode political winds; AOC is v good at her job.
