Stumbled onto a bittersweet flash fic while I was on the Saiyuki Discord which I HAD to illustrate (with writer permission) and went from simple fanart to labour of love. Feat. an adult Son Goku mourning old friends gone and getting a visit from a strange yet familiar face. Fic linked in comments!
And the current pièce de résistance for my Saiyuki obsession is ‘Touched by Gold”, where I see that the colour has deep significance for Sanzo and Goku, and decided to include the whole team in it with Hands of Gold for Hakkai, and Heart of Gold for Gojyo.

#絵チャ #八戒 #最遊記ファンアート ご報告遅れましたが💦先日よもぎさん宅の闇鍋絵チャにお邪魔して来ました✨ まさかの八戒さん2連チャン🤣二回目は見学の方にパネル選んで頂いたのに連チャンでしたからね…最早運命。八戒さん描くの苦手なので、修行だと思って頑張りました(笑) 因みにチャイナが赤いのは、赤パネル選んで「チャイナ八戒」だったので、んじゃ赤チャイナかと🤣 カフェの方は、先にカフェごじょさん描かれた方がいらして、「いらっしゃいませ～(男かよ)」って下りがあったので、この台詞です(笑)
