Had a really difficult time at the convention, and to toot my own horn for a sec, the ease I feel at Gamescom or Develop by comparison is the result of cultivating relationships over several years. I put a lot of work in, and that's why people recognise me! Of course I can't have that here.

I saw a post saying that any critic would get a backlash after trashing a popular film. And I'm just not sure that should be normal. It's fun when a critic hates something! We should want reviewers with high standards and weird/obtuse opinions. A film isn't a sports team you support!

A real pie in the sky thing for me would be to appear on another game soundtrack. Wouldn't have to be sth I actively worked on. After my song on Wax Heads, I was briefly so motivated to record again but alas, burnout just takes and takes
7. The film centers Odysseus's guilt over his war crimes, but never shows us the POV of his victims, and instead glorifies the perpetrator for feeling bad about himself. I found this unsatisfying ethically and worse, imaginatively, because Damon's character is given only one mood (Troubled).

I see ppl either say they're staying out of spite or they're happy to leave, but I wish there were more visible people like me with no idea how to stay connected to an industry they gave so much to. I feel like a loser still!
My neuroatypical end boss is the fact that I need to have plans decided at least a day in advance. It's the one thing I receive no sympathy for, which makes it the worst. If someone tells me "I'll let you know later" I become paralysed and do nothing but wait bc I don't know when "later" is
