Books, sports especially WNBA, Knicks, and LFGM. We're all we got, we're all we need. Flatbush til I die.

I think this stance is the thing that a lot of people who try to paint progressive Muslim candidates as inherently anti-semitic miss. I can't tell you how many people asked me if I felt worried about Mamdani, and I was just incredulous every time.

El-Sayed: "My commitment to Jewish safety is the same commitment that I have to the safety of my own daughters. Because if there is one question of political philosophy that ought to animate us all, it's what would we do if we treated all our kids like they were all of our kids?"

Low key kind of annoyed that the W went with Sirens for the Cleveland team when there is already a women's team called the Sirens in the @newyorksirens.com. At least they are going with different things. And they can't lay claim to Wee Woo

I love that when I posted about being at the Liberty game tonight, two different friends who I brought to their first ever Libs game (separately) messaged me that they were here too. Also I love that Ellie was shaking ass in front of Hilary Clinton.

I wish the NY local press would treat the wealthy people complaining about the pied-a-terre tax like the loser diaper babies they so clearly are.

The thing about these bans is that they filter down to even rec leagues. These tennis associations such as the USTA also oversee amateur and rec league regulations. So a trans woman wanting to do some casual matches with friends is also banned. It's about exclusion, not fairness.

Trans women have been allowed to compete in women's tennis for nearly fifty years since Renee Richards won her case in 1977. It hasn't been an issue in all that time. Now they're mandating these invasive genetic tests to screen out trans and intersex women. www.devdiscourse.com/article/spor...

Every day this guy does something like this and every day the same people who dress him up as a terrifying commie destroyer of civilization do a dozen things to sabotage the public good, to murder and destroy and hate and kill, and I can't anymore handle those who won't see the clear difference.

This summer, we kept the lights on all night, every night, at five soccer fields across New York City.

This was the scene at Calvert Vaux Park in Gravesend, Brooklyn Tuesday night.

I’m interested in any political imagination for accountability. It has to be proactive & retroactive. It has to be spectacular. And, ideally, it would leave so many of them broke that it actually becomes a deterrent. Being poor is truly all they care about not because they don’t care about prison.
