Something I really liked and had fun (?) watching was the trajectory of both Jamie and Claire dealing with the knowledge that Jamie might die….(1/5)

Wanna know something rude? When Jamie says “Remember me” to Claire, he is basically saying “Forget me not.” Cut to her trying to memorize his face while they make love… And then he magically plants the forget-me-nots while he’s not!dead. And that’s fine. 😭 #OutlanderFinale

Were they dead? No. I thought so the first time I saw it, but I’ve seen it several times since. They were just sleeping in the flower, waiting for the sun to come, to warm them so they could fly off.

I couldn’t stop thinking about the fic I wrote of Claire not being able to leave Jamie’s body after he died while that was happening in the ep. I mean I literally called it Can’t Leave Home! There were so many moments that reminded me of that lil oneshot I wrote so long. I miss writing fic. 🥲
My friends. I know I’ve been absent from this space (brain overwhelm is fun!) but fuck that ep was so good 😊 AND when we left the bad place in 2024, I took screenshots of one of my last posts there which was my finale detective work and partial theory. Finding it again now just made me so happy 😃

I went to the cottage & I’ll never be the same-iykyk. The high this show gave in just 6 eps is wild! I’m so grateful there’s a 2nd season coming and that so many people have seen the beauty in not only the romance genre itself (we ❤️ happy endings), but in queer joy and love 🌈I LOVE THEM YOUR HONOR🌈
