Its so weird. I get people love Mass Effect, but like, love the people who made it? You're going to raise hell over a... pitch video? And you want someone who had nothing to do with that to make it? Ya'll, the games you love were like that cuz of who made them, not cuz the IP was inherently magic
James B. Jones@jamesbjones.com · 3d agoI love being reminded that the audience really doesn’t give a shit about the developers. Like, forget that one of the most influential studios in our industry was just executed by its publisher, just make sure the product continues on the assembly lines!

The Government™ has made an ad about all these protests happening around the world, and it’s surprisingly honest and informative.
New main image up on the site, since my old avatar was years old now, but now that i have it uploaded I don't think I'm too keen on it, especially not at the smaller Bsky crop size, so might change it here shortly. Either way, think I'm done messing with website stuff for now zeratanus.com

your never going to guess who has two insurance policies on their house because their insurance agent forgot (?) to cancel the first one when I changed, despite stating directly that they would handle that part...

Zeratanus@zeratanus.com · last wk.alright, zeratanus.com now redirects to my bsky page, so thats nice. I'll start putting that on my art going forward (not withstanding any art ive finished and havent bothered to post), but the old address will keep working for the foreseeable future.
Getting a random hair up my ass that I should remake this old comic. It's a fairly short one-shot story that nobody read and nowadays I feel like both the opening and ending are really flawed and have ideas on how to rework it while still keeping the middle basically the same.
Zeratanus@zeratanus.com · 2y agoI really like this style but its a little bit too cartoony for my existing comic stories. These two are from an old comic I made in 2017 and I think it's a pretty good fit for them so I gave them a little redesign~ #art
Water tiles dusted. 👊 (+ many other revisions not pictured) Here's a peak at some of the new river & coast tiles. Had big momentum loss with an apartment-move followed by other happenings, and took some mega willpower to resume these water tiles which had been a big pain. Moving on!

I could feel my back on the verge of being A Problem after doing lots of yard work. Have a large appliance to fix, but put it off so as not to strain my back. Toilets also been making noises. Twist water pump to lower the water level. Water starts spraying everywhere... toilets fixed. back hurts...
Happy Spooky Month! This go around I lost a lot of steam and was struggling to actually finish (I hate drawing backgrounds ngl). Can you tell I've been getting into Metroid lately? 😂

![A comic page with multiple Final Fantasy Tactics characters celebrating Mustadio's birthday.
Panel 1 (flashback): Child Mustadio holds a screwdriver and a nail, looking at them in awe. An adult man's hand hands him a wooden box, saying, "Here, son. Your first toolbox."
Panel 2 (below): [Present day, at a tavern] Construct 8 lifts up an adult Mustadio, saying, "Congratulations on the anniversary of your creation, Unit Mustadio." Mustadio replies, "Thanks, big guy! You can set me down now" while sweating a little. Other party members watch them, including a smiling Alma holding a cake and Cloud watching from the sidelines with a deadpan expression. Agrias works on uncorking a bottle of wine while Ramza cheers her on, saying, "You can do it!" to which she replies, "Of course."](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:nazzzoawtvkr62s25ggrrjvv/bafkreih4lxt5nro5teytsepr24aswahisd2cquf4fhohwmtarlknctlj5m)
