There is an important difference between ppl who've done a project in a VO role vs Professional VO - its not elitism, there has to be a standard + appreciates the training & exp professional actors have invested. I wouldnt say im a writer just for posting a medium article twice. Its a real job.

If you mention getting tea, its a litmus test about your interlocutor based on the response you get: 1) "ah nice, a hot drink" 2) "i had my dose already ;) / do they also serve E?" 3) "who're we gossiping about?"
