i honestly don't think this is bad casting but considering fred explicitly stated that he didn't want a film made out of his life, i struggle to find this movie worth supporting, even if it would help spread the films of fred (and ginger) to a younger audience

Everything Tom Holland does in the upcoming Fred Astaire biopic, Sabrina Carpenter will have to do backwards and in heels. She and Margaret Qualley have joined the film as Ginger Rogers and Adele Astaire, respectively.

Ginger was not only Fred's dance partner, she was also one of the best actresses of her era. And Astaire "didn't want his life story depicted on screen," says his widow, which makes it a non-starter for true Fred & Ginger fans. So, who is this film for? www.thewrap.com/industry-new... #FilmSky
