Opinion: Mamdani's idea may sound appealing, but it's NYC taxpayers who will take the hit, subsidizing discounts they may never even use.

Part of me wants to do a proper marathon. The other part of me is like… why? I’m an introvert. I hate crowds. Instead, I went and did the local rail trail (which is aaaalmost marathon length) just on my own, on a whim, for funsies. No crowds, no waiting for stuff. And then I got pizza after!

NEVER SAY ANYTHING SENSITIVE IN WRITING ANYWHERE. Not Telegram, not email, not DMs, not your Notes app (which syncs to the cloud, ICYDK), not Texts, not WhatsApp... ANYWHERE. If it's a device that can get on the internet, your stuff is not safe from prying eyes.

Still need to book hotels, but I've taken another step towards my weird plan of walking from MA to Portland, ME in Sept! Got dates pencilled in. 2-3 day walk, and then a weekend in Portland to chill and unwind. Because I wanna. Because spending the several whole days walking is fun!

The beginnings of a dank frittata! We’ve got: Broccoli, a bell pepper, garlic, tomatoes, golden paste, chili pepper, cumin, smoked paprika, black pepper, cayenne pepper, powdered onion+garlic. Gonna sauté it all down, to get most of the water out, add eggs and feta, and then bake at 350 for 30min!
