Ok I HAVE to write something up in regards to AWU this year and being invited out to be one of their guests of honor this year cause I had the absolute most refreshing and amazing time at this furry con. I couldn’t stop tearing up thinking about moments spent there while having to get ready 2go home
I’m so sorry if those thoughts feel a lil incoherent but oh my god, extreme positivity blast AAA !!! I LOVED MY TIME AT AWU!! I loved my time in UTAH!! I will be going back! I got to spend time with friends I haven’t gotten to see in forever all while making new ones! It was such a beautiful time❤️
I think @anthroweekendutah.org remains my favorite con. Run by the loveliest people, and everyone is so kind and happy. I hope to keep coming back year after year! Thanks so much to everyone who stopped by, and to all the furries who loved this big stompy Prryce ;3

Absolutely unreal convention. Before Opening Ceremonies was even finished I was already convinced to come back next year. This is a 3,000 person con that has theming and event commitment that deserves to be seen by 10,000. I completely understand now why everyone who’s been to AWU speaks so highly.

Honestly a comment and a repost does wonders. PARTICULARLY the commentary, if you can't put financial help in an artist's gas tank, you can fuel their creativity by saying what you like about the art they make. 75% of creatives have little self esteem, you can help loads with a kind word.

People claim they can’t support artists and creators because they are financially strapped, but they can still boost posts, comment, like, and in general just be supportive! It’s completely free outside of an internet connection ;)

Kids need/deserve traumatic films. Films that show death or lasting consequences that aren't resolved almost instantly. Fear, anger, grief and frustration should be part of kids movies. Kids arent stupid, they feel big emotions just like adults, they deserve to see those experiences reflected back.
