Somebody asked me on Reddit why people who use AI to generate Recomp projects are currently being rejected from the communities and what they can do to fix this. I might tweak parts of this to be a more general blog post at some point, but this should be of help to anyone in a similar situation.
does aseprite do some magic to draw less jagged corners on sprites? i recall seeing that effect to the lines way more often on bitmap image editors and like, the GameMaker sprite editor (which doesn't fill in the gaps between lines but still)
i dont care if this is hypocritical if you use ai to write homebrew or a decomp you might as well be shoving a finger up your ass because literally whats the point if *you* aren't actually invested on doing it.

anyone else had issues with GCC on Fedora/Red Hat just failing to compile position independent code properly? something that works on Ubuntu, Debian etc requires either manual compiler/linker flag changes to make actual position independent code, otherwise functionally it expects a base address of 0

is there like a wiki specifically for tracking software and hardware terminal features, escape sequences, and whatnot? i had an absolute nightmare trying to figure out how to make a TUI app while handling IO myself i found one site called 'terminal-wiki' but it's about dumb-terminals specifically
