If there's one thing I really don't like about the Michael Bay Transformers films, especially as they go on, it's the weird misanthropy and pessimism. The 4th movie literally makes *Optimus Prime* give up on humanity and neither it nor 5 ever once prove him wrong or make him see differently.

Imagine being a VFX artist working on a film like this for a couple years, and then finding out the company who's releasing the film decided to kill all good will with the movie the week it came out with slop dogshit like this
