one thing I miss from the pre-genAI days is that there was no questioning that human nonsense was simply human nonsense. a dog piloting a plane? some silly human toiled over that in photoshop. now, when something is nonsensical, we question if it’s ai and don’t get to enjoy it the same way.

Marco Rubio is against birthright citizenship. But Marco Rubio *is* a birthright citizen. Ted Cruz is against birthright citizenship. But Ted Cruz was born in Canada. He only got US citizenship by a birthright citizenship law because of his US mother. They are both shameless hypocrites.

I feel like such an idiot. I let someone call me a monster, I let her try and convince me over and over again that I'm a horrible, terrible predator, and when I tried to get away from her, she'd shower me with gifts and affection. Classic abusive behavior, but I let it happen. I'm and idiot.

the venezuelan earthquakes tragedy continues on, two weeks later. i'm more actively posting about it on twitter because i do not have the energy to keep up with multiple social media pages at the moment + we venezuelans heavily rely on twitter to spread urgent news and information, bsky is useless.
