A lot of people don’t realize the dust bowl wasn’t a natural phenomenon. It happened when agrobusiness interests dramatically transformed the plains without regard for drought, and created vicious dust storms that choked whole families to death. That’s what I think of when I read about data centers.

Tonight the Senate is voting to start debate on the annual defense bill. It's essentially an Iran War authorization bill. A totally unprecedented 50% increase in spending to fund the war without any meaningful restraints. I'm voting NO.

Today, I voted YES to release the names of Members of Congress who used taxpayer dollars to settle sexual misconduct and other misconduct cases in Congress. No more abuses of power and no more hiding behind a system that shields perpetrators. We will always fight for justice for survivors—period.

Trump's idea of "they knifed the reflecting pool" is stupid for many reasons. But if the proper paint was properly applied, cutting into it should not cause it to delaminate. Just because water can get into a cut doesn't mean it can get "under" the paint.
