The surge of ICE activity across Maine over the last few weeks is deeply alarming. We know many of you are feeling the same mix of anxiety and anger that we are, while our staff is doing their parts as individuals, we also wanted to take a stand as a business.
So appreciative of readers like @megmcdermott92.bsky.social. I love seeing these kinds of connections and being part of a conversation.
Megan McDermott (she/her)@megmcdermott92.bsky.social · 11mo agoRead this @abbiekiefer.bsky.social poem last night & it felt very relevant to today's Gospel texts (for churches that follow the lectionary - it was Luke 21:5-19)
Grateful to @theatlantic.com and the editorial team of Kat Hu and Walt Hunter for publishing this abecedarian about my night guard, among other things. I feel like my dentist would be proud.
