After letting Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth's story cook for a bit, I revisited it this past weekend. I am now at the point that every story thread has clicked and it's a masterpiece. It's easily game of the year. Especially for story driven content. It's not close. Will be theory crafting it for awhile
