As a candidate, Zohran Mamdani promised to fund the city’s three library systems at 0.5% of the city’s budget. But as mayor, his executive budget proposal coughs up just 0.42% of the budget — less than his predecessor allocated.

Someone I am connected to on facebook posted a picture of themselves that was doctored heavily by AI. The number of comments saying "You look gorgeous!" is LOL. No shade to how she looks normally, but that is NOT her. She seems to think it's funny, but it is unclear if the commenters are aware?
