Sharing this crucial data because this is a plague that has followed me my whole radio career and I don't know what folks are expecting me to do with untagged files (or what I, a radio guy, am supposed to do with just a streaming Spotify link)

I wrote a basic guide on how to tag your audio files with the correct metadata. It will take you longer to read this than to tag your files. This is essential for many reasons, but especially for folks sending out promos. davidmenestres.com/how-to-tag-y...

I have seen firsthand the terror and tactics the National Guard have inflicted on the residents of D.C., particularly in lower income housing not far from my neighborhood.there were jump outs just this past Friday at Brookland Manor. And troops bothering picnickers at Malcom X Park. Not. Normal

Today marks one year of living in an occupied D.C. If someone or a news organization tells you that this is the new normal, then they have just chosen to ignore the people who live here and live it. They have given up.

After nearly an hour of public comment, the board agreed to not pursue either of the two "safety" proposals from MVP. Commenters were overwhelmingly opposed and the board rejected the proposals as "not serious."

Absolutely insane to me that Disco doesn't automatically tag wav files with the correct metadata. Why do so many people pay for this service? Also insane to me that artist/labels aren't uploading files with the correct metadata in the first place.
