Musician is one absurd and hard road to travel, but the rewards are so sweet. Now, most of the rewards are all the things "money can't buy." I love being rich in all those things! And I'd take some money too if it's available. But really, the connections music creates are the best.

"Music is spiritual. Music is certainly way up there on that level. That's one of the things that has attracted me to music is that all of the possibilities of things that can happen." Happy Birthday Roscoe Mitchell born August 3, 1940

This story cuts deep into the heart of our supposed american dream. I feel for this child and his family. Even when you're looking for the little dramas to find a thrill in your day, there's sadly no looking away from the big problems. So let's look and band together and figure out how to fight.
