If they really cared about safety they'd lower the speed limits and put governors on all the cars so they physically couldn't go over the speed limit... The cameras are about taxing poor people and tracking civillians.
This law is not unique to Republican South Carolina. It is also observed in other Republican states like: Alaska, Idaho, Utah, North Dakota, Oklahoma, and Arkansas.
I think Alberta should follow Republican state South Carolina in adopting the law that allows people on bikes to observe stop signs like a yield sign. Why isn’t that question on Dreeshen’s online survey?🤷♂️ #yycBike #yegBike

Automated enforcement literally isn't state overreach. There is no guarantee of privacy in public spaces. I don't want Flock cameras, but red light cameras and photo radar speed cameras should be everywhere.

People want to support local businesses without being forced to drive. The proof is everywhere, and the local farmers market is the perfect example.
Building cities for people shouldn't be a radical idea. The real hostile, unnatural design is blanketing our communities with massive parking lots and urban highways.
E-bikes give people affordable, clean transportation. If kids are getting hit by pickup trucks, the answer isn’t to treat e-bikes like the problem; it’s protected bike lanes, safer crossings, lower traffic speeds, and infrastructure that keeps everyone separated from multi-ton vehicles.
Call me crazy, but if a Democratic president had 350 accounts closed by their bank for money laundering it’d be more than a blip in the media
Even if cyclists only use bike lanes in winter (we don't), they are a worthwhile investment.
