I put together another Masters Communications USB radio interface. This one is the RL-20. Low cost, less frills, for making a radioless node. Which I want to do someday, right now using it for testing some radio stuff. This board lacks the fail safe PTT disable, a pretty sweet feature. #HamRadio

Just found a really useful firefox extension. Forces youtube "shorts" crap to play in a normal youtube window, with all controls like FF and rewind. What a relief! Now if it only had a way to force the videos to be landscape instead of sucky keyhole. addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo...

FYI those in Yucca Valley who have the sewer project coming your way. Hi-Desert Water District promised that door hangers would warn residents when access to their property is about to be blocked. Twice now they have impeded access to my driveway & there have been NO door hangers. 1/x #YuccaValley

Hi! SkyFeed is struggling and I need to find a solution. If you don't know SkyFeed, it's a service I built 2 years ago, enabling anyone to build and publish feeds using a visual block-based editor. SkyFeed is still hosting the most feeds on Bluesky, but that comes at a cost [1/X]

My trouble with #APRSdroid seems to be with the way it is accessing the phone's GPS. Yesterday I ran a track using Organic Maps which tracked perfectly. Halfway thru the hike I started APRSdroid. While Organic Maps is running, APRSdroid tracks perfectly as well. #HamRadio #AmateurRadio #APRS

Replaced my 8 year old android phone finally. Here are #APRSdroid tracks of the same hike path, before and after. I figured there would be more points with the new phone thanks to better cell coverage, and there was. But what the hell happened to the GPS? #HamRadio #APRS

I'm considering filtering out posts on my ham radio feeds that link to AI sites. Looking for feedback. My reasons; unreliable results, from tech built on stolen work, foisted upon us by some of the worst people on the planet motivated by their own greed. Please reply with your opinion either way.
