Writer & director of new horror film, Dead Media. Coming soon to a theater, streamer & physical media near you. A frozen pizza + a martini = a gourmet meal (he/him)

I’m been in 9 different cities across the United States in the last two weeks and the only weather conditions I’ve encountered are: 1) rain 2) sun tries to melt the flesh of your body 3) You can have a light breeze at 2 am as a treat

Arrived in Palm Springs for our Dead Media screening, stopped at a record and video store, met an animator who worked on the original He-Man and She-Ra cartoons, talked to him about the movie, and he made me this drawing. This is why you should ALWAYS stop in the local physical media store.

Since I hate AI-generated content so much and I talk a big game about how literally any level of human art skill is better than all AI-generated trash, I am putting myself out there and doing #Inktober for the first time! I haven't taken a drawing/painting class since I was 14. Let's fucking go! 🧵

Last night’s Dead Media screening in Portland went great and I rewarded myself with a trip to Powell’s bookstore and a signed copy of Kyle MacLachlan’s autobiography. All theaters should be next to giant bookstores

My first night wander in New York: Stopped by Cinema Village where Dead Media screens on Sunday night and restocked their promo cards. Then found pizza, a martini, and a fantastic comics and collectibles store that was open until 10 pm so now I have to move here :(

I just landed in New York and the first thing I heard was the pilot saying “We are in New York. Please have patience.” Not even sure if the context. Off to a great start! Anyway see you at the screenings, New Tork friends!

Confession: I’ve never been to New York City proper. I kept putting it off until I had an exciting reason to go. So I’m very excited to screen DEAD MEDIA twice on Sun, Sep 27th. 2 pm Low Cinema 8 pm Cinema Village. Tix: www.antennareleasing.com/films/deadme... Please share with New York humans!

DEAD MEDIA. A scrappy DIY horror film that is as Minneapolis a movie as it gets. When friends decide to spin up a long lost horror film, they find a special feature that unleashes the film into their home. Really uses DVD cleverly to create a new kind of analog horror. Really dug it. Coming soon!

ANOTHER EDITION OF HOW HAUNTED IS THIS HOTEL HALLWAY? The low light and red carpet helps, but what really boosts the score for me is that the carpet is a map of Austin which, in theory, could contain many more haunted hotel hallways. 8 out of 10 untethered souls
