Trump Administration Lets Parts of the National Firearms Act Lapse (Gift Article)
The retreat by the Justice Department effectively allowed a pillar of the Prohibition-era National Firearms Act to lapse.

Imagine being a US Senator pretending to care abt the child rape of the Epstein files; and then hiring Todd Blanche to help protect the rapists.
I was at that Pedro game at Yankee Stadium, wearing my Red Sox gear. It’s still, to this day, the only game I’ve attended at Yankee Stadium. I picked a good one!
Tonight was the first time the Red Sox pitchers had 16 or more strikeouts in a game without a walk in a 9-inning game since Sept. 10, 1999 when Pedro Martinez beat the Yankees, 3-1, in the Bronx. He fanned 17. Chili Davis homered in the 2nd then Pedro retired 22 in a row.
We've gotta make the Monorail Simpsons episode required viewing for every city councilor in the country. Every single thing he says here is a lie. A Potemkin Village Imaginarium.
Hassett: "Data centers are very good for towns bc they create so many jobs & bring people in with high incomes that can buy houses & stuff like that. So if you take a sleepy town that hasn't seen much in the last 30 years & put a data center there, there are gonna be a bunch of happy residents."

The American Psychological Association defines projection as: "The process by which one attributes one’s own individual characteristics to another person or group... often a defense mechanism in which unpleasant or unacceptable impulses, affects, or responsibilities are attributed to others."
Miller: "It's not a coincidence that when you look at these violent Antifa demonstrations not one of the people that is demonstrating looks like a normal person. Not one looks normal. They're all deformed in some way in their appearance, in their dress, in their mannerism." #cdnpoli
Have you noticed that some of the most effective ads for the Dems are written by the GOP? I love when they say the quiet part out loud! #AccountabilityIsComingNovember3rd
Unfortunately, a stunned Paris is how they all got into this whole mess to begin with
‘The Odyssey’ women Zendaya, Anne Hathaway, Lupita Nyong'o, and Charlize Theron stun in Paris.
"There’s simply no way any of us could have predicted a Nazi SS guy with his eyeballs dangling out of his sockets and the Staff of Ra broiled into his flesh like grill marks on a meat slab would be such a terrible candidate for Senate."

My book refers to Musk’s USAID cuts as a Silicon Valley genocide. The richest man in the world took a chainsaw to the poorest people in the world. Laughing. So much money, so much death. Remember their names when billionaires preach “abundance.” 👇 In their AI dreams, we are all the future poor.
Musk says not a single person has died due to him axing USAID. Sadly, part of my job involves tracking aid spending. So here’s a thread with just some of the people who lost their lives because of USAID cuts
The scene at The Hold Steady. They always put on a phenomenal show! My favorite setlist I’ve seen them play. Three top-notch openers in Titus Andronicus, Bully, and Built to Spill. Thanks to @mark.staron for the tix!
The Reyna trivela capped a sequence of 26 consecutive completed passes. What an amazing team performance! Everyone saying #USMNT were gonna get grouped are awfully silent today.
Gio Reyna puts the bow on it with a beaut, 4-1 #USMNT
Richards 83 completed passes are the most passes with 100% accuracy by any player in a FIFA World Cup match since 1966. #usmnt
There is a lot of “Paraguay isn’t very good” talk. Full stop. Under Alfaro, they lost just once in WCQ and went 9 straight without defeat. They beat URG, Brazil, & Argentina. They were one of the best defensive teams in the 🌎. Paraguay isn’t bad. #USMNT made them look bad.

FYI, I’ll be posting about my #USMNT in the World Cup because they’re my favorite team in my favorite event in my favorite sport. Yes, I can cheer for my USMNT and still hate the direction of my country/oppose Trump regime. One of the few remaining American things I can still root for anymore.
Jamison and me at the USMNT vs Germany soccer game. What an incredible atmosphere at Soldier! We arrived in style (via rickshaw). The U.S. looked great, especially in the first half, when they outplayed Germany dramatically. And I even caught Jedi’s wonder goal on video! #Usmnt
