Yesterday, I replaced the filters on my air purifier to find it had sucked up one yellow post it note and two (clean) tissues. It says something about your mess when your appliances can't stand it anymore and start picking up after you.
When we biked through Sicily, we saw flowers growing under solar panels with bee hives at the end of each row, facing the road. Evapotranspiration from plants keeps PV panels cooler, improving their efficiency. Panels reduce evaporation, requiring less water to keep plants alive. It’s a win-win

One of the smarter things I did this past winter was buy two aerogarden units to grow lettuce in my kitchen in response to the government's food safety inspection cutbacks. I am grateful to still be eating fresh greens and am wondering If I should expand the garden to tomatoes and strawberries.

Good Morning. It's a "doughnuts and champagne" kind of a morning.
The genius of the forever stamp is that when a design comes out that I love, I order multiple packs (this will be my stamp of 2026! They last forever!), tuck them away for future use, can't find them when I need a stamp & buy more packs in person at the post office.

He was the only black man to win the singles title at Wimbledon, the US Open and the Australian Open. He also became the first black player to be named in the U.S. Davis Cup team. Moraff is being ridiculed for not properly vetting Platner, but our investigation shows Moraff was hiding his own sexual misconduct issues

Setting aside the endorsement of grift and misdirection of Carter's legacy, The President does not legislate. Congress has the role of legislation. The fact that a US Senator doesn't know this might be the source of our ineffectual Congress. Or, more likely, they just don't care.

One of my favorite things to do on July 4th in DC is watching the fireworks from a rooftop with the show on the Msll immediately in front of us and smaller shows all along the skyline in Maryland and Virginia. Many celebrations at the same time. It's pretty magical.
