I saw V/H/S Halloween (2025) and for the most part thought it was one of the better and more fun ones they've done, with a significant tonal shift in one (snuff inspired??) segment that soured the whole thing, unfortunately Still, the rest was over the top in a fun way and I'll probably rewatch!
From what I know about the Amityville series, that would probably make it more grounded
