Just throwing it out there but in no world was Vinicius Jr. ever leaving Real Madrid to sign for Arsenal. Or anyone else in the Premier League. The wages he wants can only be maneuvered by Real Madrid or a Saudi club. Possibly one in Turkey too, but then again, highly unlikely.

The Times, one of the leading voices when it comes to 'protecting women and girls' calling a man who assaulted his young pregnant girlfriend, said he would rape the kids if he was a teacher and called for child sex abuse porn to be legal, 'brilliant'

Football wins. Vamos España! And let me see the memes of Argentina players crying. Drab performance by a drab team. They deserve the heartbreak. Super happy for Peter, too.

I'm hoping Lamine, Nico or Pedri can produce one killer ball into the box. Decision making has let them down against the worst finalists in living memory. Do it for football. Por favor.

Turns out we all knew how to manage England at a major tournament, Tuchel is Southgate without the waistcoat, and we should make every decision (squad selection, sub choices, tactical setup) via a series of online polls. It's coming home.

Tuchel stood still. Send Gabriel Clarke over to Stone Cold stunner him. At 1-1, when the momentum had long since left us, he didn't add an extra outlet in attack. He wanted to see out the 90 minutes and reset after that. But football doesn't wait for you. Fella doesn't even wear a waistcoat.

I wonder if Tuchel was also a bit angry post-match as he massively upset the shape of the team by moving Jude back to '8' (number haters, bear with me) to accommodate Eze at '10' rather than bringing on a more natural '8' (Mainoo?) to keep Jude up alongside Kane. A huge error he got away with.

Let's be honest, it's been a tough watch. Maybe the guys are feeling the Mexico game in their legs but there's been a distant lack of energy and purpose to a lot of England's play.

Quite a few England players seem to be struggling out there but the goal before half-time was huge. Jude is such a big game player. Also important to note he gave plenty of flowers to Gordon, who was having a shocking half, for his assist. Need to sharpen up across the whole pitch.

It's equally as impressive as it is worrying that Spain have reached the World Cup semi-final and haven't produced a good 45 minutes all tournament. Desperately need Nico Williams to be available so they don't just to through Lamine Yamal. He's just getting shut down so far.
