She is worse than she's ever been, it's something we all saw happen.
I feel like at least some of this self corrects when you stop giving yourself mental medals like "ally" and just act normal with other people who are in fact for the most part, also just normal people

I agree with this, and I think it typifies the tendency to get mad when all the possible solutions are imperfect and yet we still have to choose one. people want there to be one right solution with no downsides, and get weirdly furious when that doesn't exist.

We just have a society that makes no allowances for emergencies and affords no chance of making up. A lot of people are very mad about the effects of that without having any inclination to change it.
