I reckon there are people alive today who will see/be part of the human extinction event. Probably just the beginning of it. And possibly they won't know that it is the beginning of it.

Cost of living worries are causing such a chronically exhausting psychological burden- consuming mental bandwidth, putting relationships under strain, & making it so hard to properly rest. Living in survival mode means a baseline of constant anxiety, making everything else much harder to cope with.

Renationalisation should be considered a centrist position, given it's wanted by a majority of the public, rather than a leftist position. Any political party against renationalisation is right of the majority: Labour, Reform UK, Tories, Restore are all right-wing parties.
