Not as outwardly impressive as, say, Brutalist Jam 3, but Tremor just launched - a 'Quake like Id did' full campaign, filtering modern design through roughly the same software limits the original developers did. Some top talent from across the Quake scene involved in this one.

Every now and then I think about UFO 50 and am reminded that it is one of the best indie games of all time. I don't even hesitate to say that. There's no 'Except' or 'But'. It's just a stone cold classic that really deserves to be ten times as well known. And it's still relatively unknown!

I’m Holly- a writer, narrative designer and historian. Recently got my PhD (19th & 20thC social cultural history through the lens of play & board games) and currently working in game development. I do a lot of things but I particularly love applying historical approaches to interactive storytelling.
