Gotta love the idea of Ralsei being the adopted queen's child #deltarune
no offense it’s really embarrassing to defend a youtuber
if you’ve done something as heinous as sexually assault another person, i don’t think it’s insane or punitive to say you don’t deserve a massive platform.
tw sexual assault & rape: i hate that whenever a it come out a man in a progressive space is a predator, people always bring up “restorative justice” which they define as the man should just be allowed to continue with their life with no consequence. that’s not what restorative justice is!
all the artists and creatives you love are fucked in the head and they are all terrified of you finding out and killing them for it
Squished in the middle of this story was this heartbreaking paragraph. Unconscionable.
A lot of what-the-hell moments in this story, but building a data center in a floodplain in Louisiana is inviting the wrath of Poseidon.
Any time a creative turns to this tech, they are saying "I do not respect the people who do this thing. I do not value their creative contribution to my vision. I think they are so worthless, they can be replaced by the machine that ate their work." It's not surprising this is seen as hostile.
1/3 - Gutierrez got back to us to explain more clearly his involvement with the project, and how he plans to use the tech: "It’s a big experiment for me, and I will be as cautious as possible with AI. Artists driving tech, and not the other way around, is my goal..."
There are so many insane wildly misleading stories coming out about data centers almost every day now that I'm mostly having to give up on commenting on them to focus on actually getting blog posts out, but it feels like a tsunami. This is one of them. Will go into it in a thread below.
“officials discovered two industrial-scale water hookups feeding a data center campus located 20 miles south of downtown Atlanta. One water connection had been installed without the utility’s knowledge, and the other was not linked to the company’s account and therefore wasn’t being billed.”
Guys. Heads up. Let’s talk about Hantavirus. There have been SEVERAL bad takes and BLATANT misinformation circulating regarding this outbreak so I figured it was a good idea to make a thread about it. Stay calm. Stay vigilant. Know your facts. Here’s ALL you need to know. 🧪🧵⬇️
If you don't communicate your thoughts and feelings, no one will know them. That sounds stupidly obvious, but it's funny how easy it is to forget that.
Never not upsets me that full time artists can barely make a living anymore in this current economy. Capitalism is supposed to inspire innovation, but what's innovative abt some souless bot replacing a craft that can only be achieved thru human imagination
