“That’s not true”. My dad works in one of the largest hospitals in San Antonio, and he even said there were times their ICU was nearing full capacity. What a smack in the face to all the nurses, doctors, and first responders who got us through the worst of COVID.

So many sneering elitist journalists with snarky posts over the past months that the Reflecting Pool story was trivial. It was so trivial that the DC US Attny presented false evidence to a grand jury to indict an innocent man to please the President while they both lied about it.

The White House plan to attract manufacturing businesses with a volatile regulatory environment, new arbitrary taxes (subject to change on a whim), and sending secret police to harass foreign workers has not led to more factory construction in the US. Why didn’t that work? I was told it would work.

Clarifying to see how a lot of “respect the troops” was always BS. They never meant it, never thought taking on risk for national service was honorable, just saw people serving the country as props, and “respect the troops” as a selective way to try to silence disagreement over foreign policy.

Periodic reminder that Ukraine is one of our best allies. Between the intelligence sharing, capability sharing (drones, counter drone systems), and the fact they’re degrading the capability of one of our primary adversaries, anyone rooting against them looks even dumber now.
