Every year, each councillor can allocate €30,000 of public funds for local improvements in their community. This year my allocation was used to fund permanent 5 a side goals in Salthill Park, a bike shelter at Cappagh Park, and other accessibility and safety improvements in the area.

Last Friday, councillors voted to rezone the city hall site on College Road from Community/Institutional to Commercial/Industrial. I was the only councillor in attendance who voted against it. There was one abstention. Report below. www.connachttribune.ie/news/city-ha...
