Also, the book is really strong on both functional anatomy and on evolution, so there are loads of good diagrams on anatomical details and on variation within groups. I have never seen stuff like this in any book (with one or two exceptions), it's phenomenal. Oh, and...
The art - the illustrations - in Günther & Deckert are great and numerous, and I think that many of them are the originals from which numerous later images were derived...

Speaking as an Australian (and British) citizen, mandatory voting is fantastic. It leads to a much more engaged citizenry on the whole and a much more equitable result. But first past the post also has to go. Australia's preferential voting system is miles better, while remaining a variety of FPTP.

Concepts for the Arctic Peeper. This was one of the most fun projects on SN:BZ because the Peeper is so iconic; it was a joy to work with that design, and give it a few little stylistic flourishes.
