Runner, (I like to run short distances but love to support ultra runners) Granny, litter warrior. Support MUFC and STFC.

People who deny climate change should be jailed. We have had fires here in the Var for ten days now. 35 houses lost in our village alone. Denial is the worst possible response.

Frank has this morning completed the Northern Loop of The Shropshire Way (75 miles) in 23hrs 45m. Unsupported. A new Fastest Known Time for the route! Note difficult to tell which is before photo and which the after. Closer up one is the after!

Amazing London Marathon today but, unless I've missed it, why is there no mention on the BBC of the female once holder of the outright Winter Spine Race and only female to finish the Barkley Marathons? Go Jasmin. @thegreenrunners

Northallerton hospital. Not the next checkpoint we wanted. Frank's lower leg started hurting at Shap (60 miles). He continued to Kirkby Stephen (79 miles) but couldn't put weight on it. The UTC at Northallerton is brilliant. No wait & a quick Xray showed no obvious break. Just got to rest. Dammit.

In case anyone on here was doing The Northern Traverse (anyone of the races) and still plans to do the route, please note that some fab people have set up an unofficial support network. For more info follow Community Traverse on Instagram or DM me and I'll get you added to the WhatsApp group.

Have you ever tried jogging down a muddy path while carrying a heavy camera bag? That was me after spending sunrise on Caer Caradoc, near Church Stretton. As I headed back down the hill I spotted some sheep in a field and realised they were being herded into a lane. I started to run...
