Study on gender disparities in cognitive performance, co-authored with Martina Brandt, @melwagner.bsky.social, Michal Levinsky and Ella Cohn-Schwartz. Using @share-eric.bsky.social data, we examine how social participation and welfare state contexts shape gendered patterns of cognitive aging.

🚨 New paper out! Does your parents’ education still shape your income later in life? I analyzed older workers (50–65) in 8 European countries using SHARE data. Findings: In conservative welfare regimes, family background still affects income. In social-democratic regimes, no such link was found.
