The fifth set collapse is going to be heartbreaking.
😭 but im actually okay with seeing this, they need to find a long term solution for the amount of pain she has been in and it’s not something rehab/load management has been able to fix

Enormous win for #11 Frances Tiafoe, beating an in-form Daniil Medvedev 7-6, 6-4, 7-6 to reach the U.S. Open quarterfinals. Tiafoe had only been 2-6 against Medvedev, but he stepped way, way up to elevate on this stage. Next up: a quarterfinal against Alex Michelsen.
