He does, does he not? He is a creature know as an "Eevee". A type of "pokemon", which so far as I can tell is a word for extraordinary animals. He hails from a world where such creatures are the norm, and are companions. With how well behaved he is, I now understand why.

((No, but because he genuinely doesn't usually need it. That said, after a particularly harrowing event that lasted 10 years for him, where he was basically tortured and undying, he spent a few years in therapy. He considered going again when he found out he was immortal. Maybe some day.))
