The saddest pandemic legacy isn't COVID-19 or SARS-CoV-2 circulating. It's the persistence of two anti-science tribes: Anti-Vax and COVIDDOOM. Different conclusions, same flaws: ideology over evidence. Science moved on, reality evolved. But they're still arguing with 2020.

#AIGovernance The thing that sticks out to me that we are missing entirely is accountability of management for AI. In the cases of the models in question if they are breaking the law themselves, then the executives of the parent company must be held accountable.

I'm a full Professor of Immunology and fully vaccinated. I didn't get vaccinated out of obedience, but after decades of studying the immune system and evaluating all evidence. Calling that "lack of critical thinking" is not an argument. It's ideology masked as pretend intellect.

It's Saturday at last! Here you are! Perfect! Time for you to release, rethink, restore, redress, rebuild, refresh, resume, reacquire, reactivate, & rekindle. I'd course, what you decide, is your business. Do it though. Let's go! Be careful. Be safe. Be shiny. Be glimmer. Be you. Take no shit.

Let people lose you.

Let them misunderstand you.

Let then create their own stories.
Don't rush to correct them.
Peace isn't found in fixing others, it's found in understanding yourself, learning the lesson, and knowing when to walk away.

A simple Google search says Jamie Raskin, Richard Blumenthal, & Gary Peters all took oversight actions last year re treatment of Tate brothers. Then Yassamin Ansari wrote a letter on July 23--again more oversight. None of those efforts made Moira Donegan's July 27 column claiming Dems were "silent."

VA's governor just restored voting rights for more than 60k citizens, a reversal from the previous governor and a reminder of VA's harsh lifetime voting ban for any felony conviction The move comes ahead of a November referendum to end this system and start restoring rights when people exit prison

Virginia Governor Restores Voting Rights for Thousands With Past Felony Convictions - Bolts

This is the only state that, absent action by the governor, bans people convicted of any felony from voting for life. Virginians have an opportunity to end that system for good in November.
