not nuns sexualising nuns, but one of the most memorable stories in the decameron (c. 1350 AD) is about a woodcutter who pretends to be mute so he can have sex with an entire convent full of nuns, until they completely exhaust him and he demands they come up with a timeshare scheme

Extract from the Wikipedia article "Summary of Decameron Tales": First tale (III, 1) Masetto da Lamporecchio hears about a convent with many young nuns and devises a way to be hired as gardener, feigning to be deaf and mute. The nuns soon begin coaxing the handsome man to have sex with them, figuring that a deaf mute will never be able to tell on them. Masetto goes happily along with this until the abbess takes notice of him and starts to monopolize his time and energy. Finally, Masetto reveals that he can speak and insists that he be put on a reasonable work schedule. The abbess agrees to this, and he remains many years at the convent, servicing the nuns' needs. . Filostrato's tale of a man's scheme to enjoy the favors of a convent of nuns was also in Cento Novelle Antiche from the 13th century.

Yes, this is 100% about censorship in general, and the current anti-sexual weirdness that’s going on. But a paragraph near the end of the article is especially telling… ASMR is primarily created by women. Women doing anything will always be perceived by some as inherently sexual (excerpt in comms)

In other words, NYT is increasingly becoming a gaming and recipe company, with revenue from that business helping subsidize the higher costs of their journalism (which has been weaponized in favor of trans genocide). They depend on liberals not caring enough to boycott them.

Things like seemingly harmless NYT consumption are big deals to trans people because transphobia, despite being intense and escalating these days, is an oppression often rendered invisible. Trans people are used to being abandoned by cis people, so even small abandonments have an impact.
