I love this so much. I learned at a young age how to repair simple clothing tears. My mom & grandma were big fans of fabric arts, & I took a sewing class in junior high (is that sorta thing still offered today?). I’ve done repairs large & small, w/o even owning a sewing machine 🥰 #VisibleMending

Some of the systemic ways our culture has devalued therapy and therapists: -Terrible pay to therapists (shall we talk about the increase of 1099 positions?) -Therapy speak on social media: people who are not trained therapists sharing opinions, with often incorrect/overgeneralized info (1/3)

I’ve had zero solid food since Friday. I’m very tired of broths and juices and electrolyte drinks. Currently eating a banana, one hesitant bite at a time 😬 Doc yesterday recommended the BRAT diet (bananas, rice, applesauce, toast), which I wasn’t aware of. It’s nice to eat again, but I’m skerred!!!

What emotion are you avoiding-- here, now, as you read this? That's the emotion that needs your care today. Start w/ just allowing it to exist-- no judgment, no rejection, no demand that you "handle" it "better" or "transform" it immediately. Make like a Beatle & let it be.

I appear to have had a norovirus for the past 48 hours. Eating a small amount of food yesterday was a bad idea, especially because there was dairy involved (I love cheese, what can ya do?!). While the food helped me feel better and stronger, my gut was NOT happy about it 😬 1/3
