Another day full of thoughtful conversations, hands-on learning, and plenty of creativity! Here's a look at some of Day 2 highlights from #ComSciCon2026: #CSC26 #SciComm #ComSciCon #ScienceCommunication
Science Festival We wrapped up the day with a Science Festival, where students from Bordeaux shared the scicomm pieces they worked on with Vincent Jouanneau and Alexandre Licata from CapSciences. Each group had been given a constraint, giving rise to original and fun theatrical representations !
From learning new storytelling techniques to refining publication-ready projects and sharing science with the public, Day 3 of #ComSciCon2026 was all about putting science communication into practice. Here's a look at some of yesterday's highlights!
A great honor and privilege to host ComSciCon 2026 in Bordeaux thanks to @ubmontaigne.bsky.social and @univbordeaux.bsky.social The panel discussion and the dialogue with the fantastic participants and guests to this 2026 edition was a blast! Thanks @comsciconfra.bsky.social @comscicon.bsky.social
We worked hard at @comsciconfra.bsky.social !
CREATE-A-THON Through peer review, expert feedback, and collaborative discussions, the Create-a-Thon gave participants the chance to refine their science communication pieces across a variety of media. We're incredibly proud of everything they accomplished and can't wait to see these projects!
PANEL 2: Arts & Science Anne Lassègues (@alassegues.bsky.social), Nader Hakim,, Guillaume Dutreuilh-Lagarde and Guillaume Maraud (@guillaume_maraud) shared how art can enrich scientific research, spark curiosity and new ideas and make science more engaging and accessible for wider audiences.
Day 1 of #ComSciCon2026 is in the books! From thought-provoking discussions to inspiring conversations (and plenty of croissants and coffee), yesterday we kicked off what promises to be an exciting few days at ComSciCon 2026! Here's a look at some of yesterday's highlights down this thread!
We had an incredible first day with @comscicon.bsky.social Thank you to all the speakers and attendees!
Day 1 of #ComSciCon2026 is in the books! From thought-provoking discussions to inspiring conversations (and plenty of croissants and coffee), today was all about exploring the many ways science can be shared with the world.

Annual killifish continue to surprise us: they make neutrophils before almost every other cell type, even before gastrulation. Neutrophils usually arise from the lateral plate mesoderm (forming in cyan), but in killifish they are already patrolling around the embryo in gold. tinyurl.com/killiphil
